Residence, Port Fairy
Our residential project in Port Fairy, approximately 250 sqm with ocean views, required a full remediation after the original liquid-applied waterproofing system failed within a few years.
Following the failure, the client opted to replace the system with a fully adhered PVC sheet membrane solution. We installed the Sika Sarnafil G410-20 system, a high-performance reinforced PVC membrane designed for long-term exposed waterproofing applications. The system provides excellent durability, UV resistance, and weathering performance, making it well suited for coastal environments exposed to harsh marine conditions.
The fully adhered installation ensures a continuous, secure bond to the substrate, eliminating lateral water movement and significantly improving long-term reliability compared to the previous system.
